Reliance is a small ferry that was built in 1919 as a mail and passenger ferry on the Hawkesbury River.  It originally plied the waters between Brooklyn and Wisemans Ferry.

Now as a charter boat on Pittwater, it is suitable for groups wanting a low cost alternative.  It has plenty of indoor space as well as an outdoor area aft with a shaded area at the rear that has roll down sides.  The windows can be fully opened to allow the fresh air in, or closed if necessary to keep the weather out.

There is a good CD sound system onboard, that will take ipod.  There are 2 large ice boxes to keep drinks and food cool.

Based in Pittwater, but able to cruise the calm waters of the Hawkesbury River and Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park there are many options available for a special day out on Broken Bay.

With its shallow draft and stable easy access we are able to access most wharfs with the MV Reliance and it is perfect for special birthdays, wedding photos, corporate functions and group transfers to the many bays, beaches and private waterfronts in Pittwater, including the Basin, Newport, Palm Beach, Scotland Island, Bayview, McCarrs Creek and Church point.
